Tutorial:
Overview
The lines above shouldn't wrap in the file, depending on your screen size they may wrap on this page
From the picture you should be able to see how the file translates onto the screen. The section names in the file are surrounded by '[' and ']', for example '[News]' gets turned into the section at the top of the tree in the screen shot. Any item beneath that section name gets attached to the section node on the tree until another section ID is found. The lines themselves are split into two parts, seperated by the verticle line ('|') (Note, this is not the broken line '¦', but the solid line). The text to the left of the line forms the caption of the node on the tree, the text to the right is the URL that a click on that node will take the user to. For example... Childs Play Software|http://www.childs-play-software.co.uk This would make a node who's text was 'Childs Play Software' and when the user clicked on that node the web browser would fire up and take them to http://www.childs-play-software.co.uk Note, you can not specify a URL, if
this is the case just the node will be added, the node beneath "Order
SunEdit 2K" is just such an example. The only other requirement is that the very first line is the date of the file. In this case it's 5th March 2000. This gets appended to the caption on the window.
